Spanish Championship Groups ShowList item 1On Saturday March 4, the SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP OF BIG SHOW GROUPS took place in Lleida. The first time our skaters had this experience. The objective has been fulfilled. We have enjoyed and we have been wanting to return. We want to highlight the magnificent atmosphere that existed between the three teams from the Community of Madrid.

Spanish Cup (City of Alcoy Trophy)List item 2On March 24 and 25, the Copa de España de Groups Show or the so-called Ciudad de Alcoy Trophy was held. The Small Group, obtained a 6th place and the Large Group, obtained the 8th position. Only one team from Madrid, Dr. Patín, managed to reach the podium with a 3rd place in Large Groups.

II Vigo City Council International TrophyList item 4Congratulations to the Small Promotional Group, who in their performance in the 1st International Concello de Vigo Trophy, organized by the Club Patín Vagalume of the Galician Federation of Patinaxe last Saturday, April 22, obtained an eighth place. A great effort and a great job from the group and its coach, Susana. From Capa, our thanks to the organizing club and its president Miguel, for the hospitality offered.

VIII Cid Campeador TrophyHeld on May 20 and 21, the girls of the Show Inicicación group participated, in their first outing at a tournament, in the VIII Cid Campeador Trophy held in Ibeas de Jarros (Burgos). A well-executed exercise that gave them a fourth place, only two tenths behind third, and whose greatest prize has been the unforgettable experience our girls have had. For all this, a recognized thanks to Almudena and Susana.

Madrid Autonomous Championship Junior categoryList item 1On May 13 and 14, the Autonomous Championship of Madrid was held, in the Cadet and Junior categories, at the San Ignacio de Loyola school in Alcalá de Henares. In the Junior category, Silvia Salinas and a triumphant Andrés Gallego participated, who finished his performance with the champion's cup. Congratulations guys!

Madrid Autonomous Championship Youth categoryList item 2Championship held on April 29 and 30 in Rivas de Vaciamadrid where Marta Navarro participated in the individual free program in the youth category, obtaining a creditable twelfth place.

Federation Trophy Cadets and Junior categoriesList item 3On the weekend of April 1 and 2, the Federation Trophy for the cadet and junior categories was held at the Polideportivo La Vía de Coslada track. Our skater ANDRÉS GALLEGO was once again proclaimed champion in the junior male category. We did not have the same luck in both of you and female junior with Sara and Lucia.

Federation Trophy Youth and Senior categoryList item 4On the weekend (March 18 and 19) the Federation Trophy was held at the Cerro del Telégrafo sports center in Rivas. Our skater MARTA NAVARRO has achieved her best classification in recent times, taking 12th place and passing the cut that gives her the right to compete in the Autonomous Championship of Madrid. Community of Madrid CupOn Sunday the Community of Madrid Cup ended, organized by the FMP and the Coslada Skating Club. On Saturday, due to heavy rains, the planned venue had to be moved to the La Vía Pavilion, so the start of the competition was delayed. In the Cadet category, we highlight the 12th place obtained by Sara and in the Youth category, the first place obtained by Andrés.

3rd Level Test in Mejorada del CampoList item 1On Sunday, June 11, our girls appeared at the La Dehesa de Mejorada del Campo Sports Complex to participate in the 3rd Level Tests. Hurray for Claudia, Nerea, Yolanda, Sandra, Claudia Leaves and Alba Palomo for that medal in Level C that they have achieved; Congratulations to Andrea and Camila for getting the one corresponding to Level B and congratulations to Carmen, Dafne, Paloma and Lucía (Thousand Wheels) for showing that they have deservedly won the Level A medal. And Chapeau to Susi, Almu, Lourdes and Yoli for being the guilty and responsible for these successes.

2nd Level Test in VillaverdeList item 2On Saturday, May 6, the second Level Tests were held at the Silver and Castañar Municipal Sports Complex in Villaverde Alto. Congratulations to Ainhoa Herráez and Laura Girón for their triumph in Level B and to Sofía Lozano, Vera Serna, Alicia Sánchez, Andrea Quirós and Paula Romero for exceeding Level C.

1st Level Test in Mejorada del CampoList item 3On February 12 the first Level Tests of the FMP took place. Our club got Mejorada del Campo. Our little ones were luckier than those who went to A and Certificate. Still, we want to congratulate our skaters who showed up and especially those who passed. Marcos managed to pass C and B; Camila, newcomer to our club and Sofía and Laura from the Ugena MS also approved the C. On the other hand, Carolina, Amanda and María approved the B. Ánimo chic @ s, to the next little step.

4th Level Test in Mejorada del CampoList item 4On Saturday, October 8, the fourth level tests of the FMP took place in Mejorada del Campo. We congratulate our skaters, Anihoa Herraez and Nerea Gómez for having passed Level C; Marta Barbolla for approving the B; Noealia Núñez for exceeding the A and Paula Corchado for achieving her Certificate level. Encourage those who could not approve and continue working, and remember, the nerves must be left at home. They do not add but they subtract.

I Trofeo BearingList item 1On Saturday June 17, the CDE Roulement Skating celebrated its 1st Trophy at the Conde Duque de Olivares school in Loeches. And Marta, with her first place in Category D, Aitana, her third place in Category C, and Gara, climbing the podium with her third-placed cup, refreshed this hot day with their smiles.

Velilla de San Antonio Trophy
On Saturday, June 3, Almudena and some of her girls went to "Polideportivo La Cantera" in Velilla de San Antonio to participate in the skating trophy that was held there. Alba Palomo and Sofía Lozano participated in category C older; Dafne Sanz and Paloma Martín in category A small and Amanda Pérez in A older. VII Móstoles Trophy 08List item 3On Sunday May 21, this trophy was held at the Villafontana Sports Center. Daganzo Figure Skating TrophyOn Sunday April 23rd, our skaters Ada, María, Raquel, Lucía and Mónica participated in the Daganzo Figure Skating Trophy in the Certificate category. Congratulations to Lucía Ramos, from the Mil Ruedas club and trained by Lourdes, for her third place in level A.

IX CDE Best Skate TrophyOn Saturday, April 22, the Mejorada del Campo Trophy was held. Camila and Laura participated in it at level B, in which Laura got a second place, and Marcos who achieved third place at level A. Alejandra and Paula participated in the Certificate category, Laura in the Youth category and Blanca in Cadet .

Delivery of the Gold Medals of the City of MadridList item 1On May 15th, the delivery of the Gold Medals of the city of Madrid took place. This year, we were able to be present thanks to the invitation that he made us, through the District President of La Latina, Esther Gómez, the Mayor of the city. Our Technical Director Susana Villafranca was able to accompany the international ice skater and resident of Aluche, Javier Fernández. Exhibition in Fuente el SazList item 2On June 24, a large group of our girls, most of them category and certified, were present at Fuente el Saz in order to teach this young group about the higher levels that they will have to face shortly.

European Mobility WeekList item 3CAPA was present on Sunday, September 18, at the European Mobility Week. Illescas street was cut off to traffic at the Aluche Park and our girls skated there along with all the attendees who came between 11:00 and 12:00. CAPA attended at the invitation of the Municipal District Board, with about 50 girls who performed some dances, jumps and pirouettes that were applauded by the audience.

IV Conference on Urban Culture. 10th StreetList item 4On Saturday, September 17, at 12:00 hours we were in Guareña Street in the Aluche neighborhood participating in the IV Urban Culture Conference of La Latina, organized by the Municipal Board of Distristo. The CAPA and the Aluche Municipal Skating School were represented with more than 50 skaters. One morning skating, getting to know the neighborhood and enjoying it.

Farewell
Last Friday, November 18, we learned of the sad decision of our beloved President JULIO GONZÁLEZ to leave the presidency of CAPA. This club will never be grateful enough for the work it has done in recent years. He has made CAPA loved and recognized by the entire skating community in Spain. His exquisite dealings with all clubs, big or small, and his eagerness to spread the word about this sport has led him to work so that the TROFEO LATINA DE GRUPOS SHOW is what we all know today.
